                 I would not recommend this book to a friend because I'm pretty sure none of my friends will be into this book. This book is plain. It has no drama, horror, or comedy, and it only has a tiny bit of romance. This is not the type of book that someone would enjoy reading because they would have no feelings whatsoever. I mean they would not be sad, happy, or scared. One thing people like when reading a book is to have a certain emotion like they have in Twilight or Goosebumps.You will not find that here. In my opinion, I think this book is not a book someone will continue reading.

There is a rectangle with dimensions 15 cm by 18 cm. The ratio of the area of this rectangle to that of another square is 5 : 6. What is the perimeter of the square?

I got this answer because the area of the rectangle is 15 x 18= 270 sq. cm. The area of the square is 270 x 324 sq. cm Each side of the square must be 18 cm. Perimeter of the square = 18 x 4 = 72 cm.

The area of a rectangle is 165 sq. cm. If the sides of the rectangle are whole numbers, how many different values can you find for a side of the rectangle?

                     Wow Hollis kissed a guy for the first time. I remember my first kiss. First grade, there's this girl who I always used to hang out with and my mother and her mother, who are friends. So we went to the park and we were looking at the ocean. We were throwing rocks in the water when suddenly she was looking at me, I looked at her. Then she got closer and kissed me. My eyes were wide open, I kissed her back. I ignored my fright. That was the day this boy, thought he turned into a man. Hollis was shy every time he was close to Steven. Same with me. Every time I saw that girl I was super shy. But still we spoke. I still wonder how shes doing now.

             When I started knowing Hollis more I realized that me and Hollis both don't like compliments. Josie complimented Hollis saying she's really pretty and how she's going to look the same forever. Hollis said thank you. Although she didn't want Josie to say that. When someone compliments me I blush, but  I get embarrassed. Also, I don't always trust people. For example, when someone offers to take care of me I don't trust them and I always wonder what's the real reason they're offering to take care of me. I don't believe someone is nice enough to just offer to take care of you and not want anything in return.

          In the part of the book I read today, Hollis went to visit the ocean which Josie loves because it brings back good memories.  Hollis falls into the water and she almost drowned. Josie says "The ocean doesn't like you."  I don't get this part because how could an ocean not like someone? The police almost caught Josie with Hollis. If the police found out that Josie adopted Hollis they would take Hollis away and move Josie into a home. Hollis is taking pictures of the good times her and Josie had in case the police take Hollis away, which I believe will be happening soon.  If you were the police would you remove Josie and Hollis from eachother?

              The lesson that can be learned in this book is that when you cause a lot of trouble, noone wants you. Hollis Woods is called the mountain of trouble because she causes a lot of trouble. Yet she has to bounce from foster home to foster home. She runs away from every family she is placed with. Even from the Regan's, the only family out of all of them who offer her a home. There's only one person who she looks up to and wants to be with, Josie. Josie is a little quirky and affectionate toward Hollis, she is tender to her. Hollis wants to stay with her, but if the social services find out, Hollis is going to be taken away because she's not supposed to be with her. Apparently, Josie is the only person Hollis doesn't hate.\

Do you think that Hollis should learn to trust others?

Greek God & Heroes

              The Palace of Olympus, home of the most fierce and brave gods & goddesses. In there is Zeus, the god of all gods. He is a strong,brave,stupid, noisy,violent,conceited god. His wife Hera, who is also his sister doesn't want to be his wife because Zeus has intercourse's and marriages with other mortal women. Then once he feels the girl gets less attractive and gets older he leaves them and does the same thing with the next girl.   

             Zeus wasn't always the leader god. First, he had to get rid of his father. To rid his father, he got his brothers Hades and Poseidon and they removed their cannibalistic father, Cronus. They banished him to an island in Ireland where he changed and was nicer to others. With their father Cronus gone, Zeus ruled the skys, Poseidon won the sea, and Hades ruled the Underworld.

What do you think about Zeus, Is he selfish,or do you agree with his actions?
